Arata Masuda

Arata Masuda currently serves as a watchmaker at Audemars Piguet since November 2023. Prior to this role, Arata held multiple positions at Swatch Group from September 2016 to November 2023, including Deputy Technical Assistant, where support was provided to the Technical Assistant Manager and brand events, and ESD Representative, responsible for setting up and managing the anti-ESD workshop. Arata also worked as a watchmaker, performing overhauls of mechanical and quartz movements, assembly of cases and bracelets, and ensuring water resistance for OMEGA and other Swatch Group brands. Earlier in the career, Arata worked at EQUIPMENT Co., Ltd. as a watchmaker from August 2013 to August 2016, focusing on repairs and customer service for subcontracted Swiss watch brands and high jewelry watches. Education includes a degree from Hiko-Mizuno College of Jewelry in Japan, completing a WOSTEP 3000-hour training program from April 2011 to March 2014.
