Dieter Niederkorn

Dieter Niederkorn has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Director at AUDI AG since October 1998. In this role, Dieter Niederkorn oversees the Development Control Unit and test systems for touchpads and infotainment, contributing significantly to the development and standardization of the MOST protocol. Notable achievements include leading the development of the first vehicle with optical bus technology at Audi and pioneering advancements in touchpad technology for various Audi models. Prior to joining AUDI AG, Dieter Niederkorn held positions at Daimler AG, where work focused on telematics and infotainment, and at TZM and Autefa automation GmbH, where responsibilities included software development and integration for robotic packaging systems. Dieter Niederkorn holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electronics/Microelectronics from FH Esslingen, completed in 1996.
