Mehran Ahmed

Mehran Ahmed is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in various administrative roles within Aurora Public Schools and other educational institutions. Currently serving as the Principal of Vista Peak Preparatory since July 2024, Mehran has previously held the position of Executive Director at AXL Academy from July 2022 to July 2024 and was the Principal at Aurora Central High School from July 2014 to August 2022. Additional roles include Middle School Principal and Interim Principal at Gateway High School, as well as District Director for AVID, focusing on student support for post-secondary opportunities. With a strong foundation in physical education, Mehran began a career in teaching and coaching across multiple school districts before moving into administrative positions. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, a Master's in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Educational Administration at the University of Denver.
