Karen-Ann Clarke

Karen-Ann Clarke serves as the Program Coordinator for Nursing, Discipline Lead for Nursing, and Lecturer in Nursing (Mental Health) at the University of the Sunshine Coast since February 2008. With 40 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and specialized Mental Health Nurse, Karen-Ann focuses on clinical and academic mental health. Additionally, since March 2013, Karen-Ann has worked as an Educational Consultant for Ausmed Conferences, providing expertise on various mental health topics. From 2000 to December 2012, Karen-Ann provided education and consultancy on electro-convulsive therapy for Queensland Health, holding a significant clinical role within their mental health services. Educational credentials include a PhD in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and a Master's in Mental Health Nursing, both from the University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of Southern Queensland.
