Jessica Vess

Jessica Vess, MPAff, has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Associate Vice Chancellor of College Relations & Communications at Austin Community College since August 2014. In this role, Jessica develops and guides strategic communication for the ACC District, ensuring consistency and transparency across the college's messaging. Prior positions include Director of College Communications, Associate Director of Communications, and Senior Public Information & Media Coordinator, where Jessica focused on comprehensive communication strategies, marketing alignment, and public relations best practices. Formerly, Jessica worked as a News Anchor and Reporter at KVUE-TV and KAVU Newscenter 25, demonstrating strong journalism skills and a proven ability to connect with audiences. Educational credentials include an Executive MPAff in Public Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin and a Magna Cum Laude degree in Communications: Broadcast Journalism from the University of Houston.
