Anusuya Iyer P.E. is an experienced engineer with a professional background spanning over two decades in environmental engineering and project management. Currently serving as an Engineer at Austin Energy since August 2019, Anusuya focuses on engineering initiatives within the agency. Prior experience includes a long tenure at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality from July 2001 to July 2019, where Anusuya worked primarily with the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program, managing the review of engineering plans and environmental assessments. Before this, Anusuya held the role of Research Engineer/Scientist Associate at the Center for Energy Studies at the University of Texas at Austin from September 1990 to June 1993, contributing to several federally funded research projects. Anusuya holds a Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria.
