Bardo A. Montelongo

Bardo A. Montelongo, Ed.D., currently serves as the School Principal at Austin Independent School District since October 2021 and is also involved with KIPP Texas Public Schools as Deputy Head of Schools since June 2020. In addition, Bardo Montelongo holds the position of Head of Schools at Wayside Schools, supervising all campuses, and has been the Principal at REAL Learning Academy, Wayside Schools since June 2015. Bardo Montelongo is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in the Cooperative Superintendency Program at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to be completed in December 2023, and possesses a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the same institution. Bardo Montelongo completed a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin in 2000.
