Prasanna Sooriyaaratchi possesses extensive experience in telecommunications and engineering, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving in Spectrum Planning & Engineering at the Australian Communications and Media Authority since November 2020, Prasanna has previously held positions at Telstra as a Technology Specialist in Network Design & Optimization and across various roles including Technology Consultant at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, RF Engineer at Ericsson, and Senior RF Engineer at Hutchison Telecoms. Prasanna holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Melbourne, as well as academic qualifications from Nalanda College Colombo.
