Ahmed Yassin

Ahmed Yassin is a Computational Biologist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science since September 2023 and has been pursuing a PhD in 3D Genome and Chromatin function at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria since September 2021. Prior experience includes a scientific internship at the South National African Bioinformatics Institute from November 2020 to February 2021, and a role as a Bioinformatics Specialist at IBM from October 2020 to January 2021. Ahmed Yassin also served as a Research Assistant in the Wheat Research Department at the Agricultural Research Center from June 2018 to October 2020. Educational background encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics from Al-Azhar University and a post-graduate degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the Faculty of Informatics from January 2019 to May 2021.
