Adrian Lovney

Adrian Lovney is a seasoned payments executive with extensive experience in leading payment organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Payments & Schemes Officer at Australian Payments Plus since September 2016, Adrian oversees product management, payment strategy, and business operations. Previously held roles include Chief Strategy & Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the New Payments Platform, where Adrian contributed to the integration of Australia's major domestic payment systems. Prior to Australian Payments Plus, Adrian held several senior positions at Cuscal Limited, including GM of Product & Service, GM of Strategy & Communication, and GM of Strategy, People & Performance. Adrian also served as CEO of Abacus Australian Mutuals and GM of the Credit Union Industry Association. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and a Bachelor of Laws with honors from QUT.
