Shivana Thiru Moorthy

Shivana Thiru Moorthy currently serves as Strategy Lead at Australian Payments Plus since December 2023. Previously, during a five-year tenure at nbn™ Australia, Shivana held the role of Senior Manager for both Network Strategy (Investment Optimisation) and Network Strategy (Technology Economics), focusing on capital expenditure optimisation and data analytics within a $2 billion capex program. Alongside these responsibilities, Shivana contributed to company-wide upgrade costing programs and governance processes while transitioning data solutions to AWS. Earlier experience includes roles at the Australian Energy Market Commission as an Economist, and Deloitte Access Economics as a Senior Economic Analyst, where expertise in data analytics, market design, and economic modelling was developed. Shivana holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
