Nick Coates

Nick Coates is an experienced professional in government relations and public policy, currently serving as the Head of Government Relations and Public Policy at AustralianSuper since July 2020. Prior to this role, Nick held several significant positions, including Head of Research and Campaigns at Industry Super Australia and Director of Financial Services Risk Management at EY. Additional experience includes a tenure as Senior Manager at ASIC, where responsibilities encompassed consumer protection and oversight of financial advice. Nick holds a PhD in Economics, specializing in Finance and Public Policy, from the University of Sydney.
