Yousef Farag

Yousef Farag is a Research Scientist currently employed at Autolus Therapeutics since December 2024, with previous experience as a Senior Research Associate and Associate in Analytical Development at Quell Therapeutics from May 2022 to December 2024. Prior to this, Yousef served as Deputy Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Supervisor, Senior Laboratory Technician, and Laboratory Technician at Smart Cells from November 2018 to May 2022. Yousef's academic background includes a Master's degree in Skin Science and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Bradford, where a final year research project focused on the wound healing responses of primary human fibroblast cells. Technical expertise includes cell culture, RT-qPCR, Western blotting, and zymography, complemented by skills in laboratory management and data analysis. Additional experience in customer service was gained at BHS from September 2012 to August 2015.
