Jeremy Massel

Jeremy Massel is an experienced technology professional specializing in web development and app leadership. Currently serving as the WordPress + Jetpack Apps Lead and Mobile Infrastructure Lead at Automattic since September 2018, Jeremy previously held the role of Director of Web+Engineering at Habit (formerly Ignition Media) from June 2011 to September 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating development teams. Earlier in Jeremy's career, a position as a Web Developer at Power to Change Ministries from October 2006 to May 2011 involved developing large-scale websites and communication systems. Jeremy holds a Computer Systems Technology degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, earned between 2008 and 2009.
