Michael Maddelein

Michael Maddelein currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and Board Member at the Automotive Safety Council since October 2019. In parallel, Michael holds the position of Vice President of Engineering for the Americas at Adient, overseeing product engineering and driving best practices across the organization. Additionally, Michael has been an Independent Business Owner at Maddelein Innovations since December 2013, providing consulting services in engineering and program management. Previously, Michael served as Vice President of Global Product and Manufacturing Engineering at Inteva Products, LLC, and as Vice President & Business Head of Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra. Michael's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Lear Corporation, where responsibilities included managing global program management and strategic planning for a $1.5 billion group, and earlier engineering positions at General Dynamics Land Systems and Environmental Technology Group. Michael holds an MBA in Integrative Management from Michigan State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
