Andres Carvallo is currently a board member at Autonomy Institute. Prior to that, they held positions at Smart Electric Power Alliance and Smart Grid Interoperability Panel.
At SEPA, Andres served as a member of the Technology Advisory Council, providing guidance on technology issues affecting the growth and utilization of smart energy. Andres was also responsible for SEPA's education and research initiatives aimed at helping utilities and other stakeholders deploy and integrate solar, storage, demand response, and other distributed energy resources.
At SGIP, Andres served as Board Director and Chairman of the Marketing and Membership Committee. Andres was also Chairman of the Governance and Nominating Committee. SGIP is an industry consortium representing a cross-section of the energy ecosystem focusing on accelerating grid modernization and the energy Internet of Things through policy, education, and promotion of interoperability and standards to empower customers and enable a sustainable energy future.
Andres Carvallo received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, a Power Utility Management degree from University of Idaho, a Quality Management degree from The Wharton School, and a Business Management degree from Stanford University.
