Annemarie Smit

AnneMarie Smit is currently serving as a Toezichthouder pensioenen at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since February 2022. Prior to this role, AnneMarie co-founded Asali and worked at KEEK @ KPMG, focusing on regulatory assignments in the financial sector. Previous experience includes a position in regulatory affairs at KPMG Nederland and serving as Department Head at the Expert Centre for fit and proper testing at De Nederlandsche Bank, where AnneMarie also held roles as a Supervisor and Project Leader. AnneMarie's early career involved working as an economist and change manager at DNB First. AnneMarie holds a Master of Science in Monetary & European economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor's degree from Christelijk Lyceum Alphen aan de Rijn.
