Remco de Boer

Remco de Boer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk analysis and economic policy. Currently serving as a Senior Supervision Officer at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since March 2017, Remco specializes in sustainable finance, data-driven supervision, and the digitalization of financial services. Prior roles include Economic Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, as well as experience in technical roles prior to transitioning to regulatory oversight. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, a minor in Russian language, and a BSc in General Economics. Remco's diverse background also features experience in organizing career events and serving as an intern at the Netherlands Embassy in Washington, D.C.
