Chumari Wachaga

Chumari Wachaga is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Group Chief Technology Officer at AutoXpress Kenya since December 2022. Prior to this role, Chumari held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Tai+ from March 2018 to February 2023 and Group Head of ICT at Siginon Group from June 2017 to November 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the Group’s IT functions and business systems delivery. Chumari's earlier career includes roles at Nation Media Group, Mumias Sugar Company, Safaricom, and Equity Bank Ltd, involving database management and system administration. Chumari holds a Master of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kenyatta University.
