Tony Valencia

Tony Valencia, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Head of Human Resources at Avalon since September 2023. With extensive experience in human resources, Valencia has held the position of Human Resources Director at Tower Legal Solutions since January 2013 and was previously the Director of Human Resources at T-Mobile Limited from 2009 to December 2010. At T-Mobile, Valencia designed and implemented effective HR and recruitment strategies, successfully acquiring top talent for various managerial roles. Prior experience includes serving as Partner and Associate Human Resources Director at MindShare, where leadership was provided for multiple offices with significant media billings, and as Human Resources Director at Walker Advertising, overseeing all HR functions. Valencia began the career as Regional Human Resources Manager at Blockbuster, where strategic leadership was provided for over 90 stores. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from UCLA and a certification in Human Resources Management from DePaul University.
