Alyssa Romano

Alyssa Romano currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Avego, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Alyssa was the CFO and Chief Compliance Officer at Pura Vida Investments from January 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing financial accounting and reporting for various investment structures. Previously, Alyssa was a Partner and Head of the Fund Administration Group at Arrowstreet Capital, managing fund structuring and launch, which expanded the firm’s fund business significantly. Early career experience includes roles as Vice President-Operations Manager at Bank of America and Assistant Controller at TA Associates Realty, along with serving as Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, specializing in audits of investment funds. Alyssa holds an MS/MBA in Accounting from Northeastern University and a BA from Florida Atlantic University.
