Daniel Dodd

Daniel Dodd is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in building and managing engineering teams across various sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Avela since July 2024, Daniel focuses on simplifying the educational journey for parents and students. Previously, as Head of Engineering at Found, Daniel oversaw engineering operations, including application development and data infrastructures, from October 2021 to July 2024. Daniel was also VP of Data Platforms at Numerator and played a key role in data collection and enrichment strategies. Early career milestones include significant contributions as Principal Engineer at InfoScout, as well as founding MediaSpike, where Daniel led engineering efforts and operational management. Daniel's career began at Electronic Arts as a Gameplay Engineer, contributing to multiple Sims titles. Daniel earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 2007.
