Lauren Malafronte

Lauren Malafronte is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at Avenue Capital Group since January 2024. With a significant role at 100 Women In Finance, Lauren has held positions as Chair Emerita and Global Board Chair since January 2018. Previously, as Managing Director at Scotiabank from January 2013 to October 2023, Lauren led Client Management for Global Equities. Lauren's earlier experience includes a tenure as Managing Director at Barclays Capital, where Lauren headed Prime Services and Client Service for the Americas from 1998 to January 2013. Lauren Malafronte holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
