John K. Crotty

John K. Crotty, CCIM, is a Principal at Avison Young, where a team under their leadership has completed over $16 billion in transactions across South Florida and nationally since December 2014, gaining recognition for expertise in investment sales and distressed assets among institutional and lender clients. Prior to this role, John Crotty served as a Studio Analyst for FOX Sports covering the Miami Heat, earning two Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards during their tenure from January 2012 to December 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Partner at Colliers International South Florida from May 2004 to December 2014, and a successful eleven-year career as a player in the NBA with teams such as the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat from October 1992 to February 2003. John Crotty holds a BA in History from the University of Virginia, earned from 1987 to 1991.
