Prasad Nurani is a seasoned Software Engineer with over two decades of experience in telecommunications and networking. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ShoreTel (now part of Mitel) since October 2008, Prasad has focused on the design and development of proprietary protocol modifications and call control involving protocols such as SIP, ISDN, RTP, RTCP, DTMF, FAX, and MODEMS. Previous experience includes roles at Ericsson as a Program Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed feasibility studies for soft side switching, and at Samsung India Software Operations as a Lead Engineer designing wireless and routing protocols. Prasad also held leadership positions at Larsen & Toubro Infotech and Tata Elxsi, contributing to WiMax BTS and IP video conferencing technology. Prasad's career commenced at Multitech Software India Pvt Ltd, working on TCP/IP suite stack development and VoIP solutions. Prasad holds a degree from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, completed in 1998.
