Ben James

Ben James is an experienced professional with a strong focus on climate technology and sustainability. Currently writing climate tech guides, Ben also serves as Founder's Associate at Axle Energy, where efforts are directed towards building infrastructure for decarbonised grids. Previous roles include conducting climate investment research at World Fund, freelancing for WIRED UK, and founding the Cambridge Climate Society. Ben contributed to the IPCC's sixth assessment report and worked as a climate consultant at 2048 Ventures. Additional experience includes an internship at Octopus Electric Vehicles, coding for Plugins 4 Free, and recognition as an Engineering Leaders Scholar by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Ben holds both a Bachelor and Master of Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
