Ganesh Moorthy

Ganesh Moorthy is an accomplished executive and board member with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Celanese and Ayar Labs, Ganesh has held leadership roles at Microchip Technology Inc. from November 2001 to December 2024, including President and CEO, as well as various positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Ganesh contributed to several organizations as a Board Member, including the Semiconductor Industry Association and the Global Semiconductor Alliance, and has also been involved with Rogers Corporation and Shanghai Huahong Grace Semiconductor. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Physics from the University of Mumbai, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, and an MBA in Marketing from National University.
