Evan Mucasey

Evan Mucasey currently serves as VP of Engineering at AZAK, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Mucasey co-founded Talyn Air in July 2019 and functioned as CTO until August 2023, where the focus was on developing a two-stage VTOL aircraft architecture for high-performance missions. Talyn Air was acquired by Ampaire in the second quarter of 2023. Mucasey's earlier experience includes a role as a Vehicle Engineer at SpaceX from November 2013 to May 2019, contributing to the Crew Dragon pressurized structural assembly and the design of Falcon 9/Falcon Heavy's carbon composite aft thermal shield. Mucasey holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, earned between 2011 and 2013.
