Bryan Wattie

Bryan Wattie currently serves as the Director of Agritech Adoption at Innovate BC, beginning in February 2024. Previously, Bryan held the position of Product Manager at Lucent Bio from April 2021 to February 2024, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional initiatives and developing new product launch plans. Bryan's experience also includes serving as Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Field Engineering at SomaDetect from March 2017 to April 2021, focusing on partnerships within the dairy industry and early product development. Prior to SomaDetect, Bryan worked as a Project Manager at EFI Global, overseeing environmental remediation projects across Eastern Canada, and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at McGill University, developing computer vision applications for the food processing industry. Bryan's early career included roles as a program coordinator at Shad Canada and business manager at McGill University, as well as practical agricultural experience through teaching and labor roles. Bryan holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University and an International Baccalaureate from Pearson College UWC.
