Ken Jones

Ken Jones is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at B2Gold Corp. since October 2012. In this role, Ken advises on sustainability strategies and manages associated risks and performance. Previous positions at B2Gold include Environmental and Permitting Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing environmental compliance and conducting environmental due diligence, and Environmental, Health, Safety and Permitting Manager, focusing on health and safety regulations. Prior to B2Gold, Ken was Project Manager at Knight Piesold, specializing in environmental auditing and impact assessments for international mines. Additionally, Ken co-founded Creating Transitions, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ken holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
