Stephan Werner

Stephan Werner, CFA, has extensive experience in risk strategy and management, currently serving as Director and Head of Risk Strategy and Management at Baader Bank AG since October 2017. Previously, Stephan held various positions at Baader Bank AG, including Associate Director and Senior Manager focusing on credit risk. Prior to this, experience includes a role as Senior Credit Risk Analyst at State Street, where responsibilities encompassed credit exposure analysis for custody and third party clients. Earlier positions involved controlling functions at HAUSBANK MÜNCHEN eG and Honda Bank GmbH, along with financial and risk controlling at Volksbank Metzingen. Stephan began a career at Pirelli Real Estate as a management assistant, following a corporate finance role at DZ Bank. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Konstanz, completed in 2009.
