Stewart Downie

Stewart Downie is an experienced naval architect currently serving as Principal Naval Architect at Babcock International Group since September 2010, with previous roles including Naval Architecture Lead in Bristol, Senior Naval Architect, and Naval Architect. Prior experience includes an undergraduate internship at Babcock International Group and a position as Assistant Haven Master at Yacht Havens Group Ltd. Stewart Downie holds a PhD in Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, a Master's Degree in Naval Architecture from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Technology from the University of Plymouth, complemented by a BTEC GNVQ in Engineering from North Devon College.
