John Burnett

John (Jack) Burnett is an experienced operations expert with a strong background in managing field operations in Southeast Asia for Backroads since May 2021, focusing on Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. In addition to overseeing logistics, John serves as a mentor for field leaders, guiding performance management and career development. Previous roles include a trip leader, ski patrol, and digital production assistant at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where John created highlight content. John has also held positions in admissions media at Bowdoin College and research in neuroscience. A graduate of Bowdoin College with a BA in Neuroscience and a former tour guide and counselor, John combines leadership and operational skills with a solid educational foundation.
