Isabel Hilton Obe

Isabel Hilton OBE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism, academia, and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Fellow at RUSI Europe and Chair of the Baillie Gifford Prize for non-fiction, Isabel also holds positions as Board Co-Chair at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, Contributing Editor at Prospect Magazine, and Non Executive Director at E3G. As Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Centre for Investigative Journalism and Visiting Professor at King's College London, Isabel impacts education and investigative journalism. An International Advisory Board member at the Institute for Human Rights and Business and former Founder and CEO of The China Dialogue Trust, Isabel has made significant contributions to cross-cultural journalism. An alumnus of The University of Edinburgh, Isabel holds a Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature.
