Laura Carr

Laura Carr is a Managing Director and Operating Partner at Bain Capital since September 2022, bringing extensive financial leadership experience. Previously, Laura served as CFO at Dunelm from December 2018 to June 2022, and as Group Financial Controller at Compass Group from March 2017 to November 2018. Earlier roles include EVP and CFO at Indigo, where Laura oversaw finance for Canada’s largest book and gift retailer, and Regional CFO for the Americas at Japan Tobacco International, where Laura led financial strategy across North and South America. Laura began a career at Gallaher Group Plc as UK Commercial Finance Director before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager. Laura holds a BSc in Accounting from Cardiff University and has further education from IMD.
