Vivian Brekke

Vivian Brekke is a dedicated research assistant at Georgetown University School of Health, collaborating with Dr. Christina Marea on a literature review regarding postpartum home visits to enhance home visiting programs for women. Vivian has served as a student academic mentor, offering support in Human Biology courses, and acted as a peer advisor, providing guidance to incoming students on various challenges. Vivian's experience includes interning at Prime 8 Consulting, focusing on AI implementation in employee operations, and working at Bruner Orthodontics as a sterilization technician and radiology intern, where skills in 3D imaging were developed. Previous roles include serving as a Fun Share and Fuel Dock Captain at Seattle Boat Company and completing a COPE Health Scholar internship at Swedish, gaining insight into hospital operations. Vivian conducted research on gender and healthcare at the University of Cambridge and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Science with a Mathematics minor at Georgetown University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
