Katelyn Beaty

Katelyn Beaty is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Editorial Director and Senior Acquisitions Editor at Baker Publishing Group since September 2018, specializing in acquiring books for Brazos Press. Prior to this role, Katelyn worked as a part-time Acquisitions Editor at InterVarsity Press from November 2017 to August 2018, focusing on the general books line. Katelyn's earlier experience includes an extensive tenure at Christianity Today magazine from August 2007 to October 2016, where responsibilities included managing editorial content as Managing Editor, co-founding and editing Her.meneutics as Associate Editor, and overseeing various editorial tasks. Katelyn holds an Honors B.A. in Communications, Rhetoric, and Art History from Calvin University and attended the University of Oxford in 2006.
