Marissa Gallagher currently serves as the Director of Student Services at Baldwin-Whitehall School District, a position held since January 2017. Prior to this role, Marissa was a Program Officer for Compliance and Management at Pittsburgh Public Schools, where responsibilities focused on a program for students with exceptionalities from September 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, Marissa has experience as a Special Education Coordinator at Propel Schools from August 2011 to September 2015 and as a Special Education Teacher at Pittsburgh Public Schools and Manchester Academic Charter School from August 2009 to August 2011 and July 2006 to August 2009, respectively. Marissa holds a Supervisor of Special Education Certification from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Duquesne University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching, also from Duquesne University.
