Eric Obeck

Eric Obeck became Whitney Bank regional president in 2008, expanding that executive role when Hancock acquired Whitney in 2011. Eric recently extended his executive oversight to include all lines of business in Hancock’s Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi markets. His experience includes 11 years at Barnett Bank in Tampa and 10 years running three start-up companies in the healthcare, internet, and marketing technology industries, respectively.

Eric is the immediate past chairman of the St. Joseph Hospitals Board of Trustees and currently serves on the executive committee of the BayCare Health System Board of Trustees and chairs the finance committee.

Eric graduated from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Economics.
