Ms. Tildon is vice president for state and local affairs for Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine where she spearheads Johns Hopkins’ legislative and regulatory agenda in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Florida. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins in April 2022, Ms. Tildon held progressively senior leadership roles with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Most recently she served as executive vice president, public policy and government affairs. Her previous professional experience includes serving in several senior roles in the Clinton administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce and practicing law at Venable, LLP, as a litigator with a focus on white collar criminal defense matters.
Ms. Tildon serves as a trustee on a number of boards of local companies and non-profits, including Chesapeake Insurance Company, Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and Health Care for the Homeless. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations.
