David Fisher

David Fisher is an accomplished music professional with extensive experience in operations, education, and administration within the music industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Operations at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra since January 2024, David has previously held various roles, including Manager on Duty and Welcome Desk at Merritt Clubs, Document Formatter and Copywriter for the Maryland State Music Teachers Association, and Commencement Coordinator and Interim Education Coordinator at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. With a Master of Music in Composition and Music Theory Pedagogy from The Peabody Institute and a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Lawrence University, David has also contributed to the field through positions such as Ear Training Graduate Assistant, C.O.R.E. Student Mentor, Choral Music Librarian, and Ensemble Manager/Accompanist, showcasing a strong commitment to music education and community development.
