Dustin Sugasa

Dustin Sugasa is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in risk management and investment strategies. Currently serving as Co-Head of Risk for Systematic and Event Driven Businesses at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since October 2021, Dustin previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer at Northlight Group from March 2019 to October 2021. Earlier roles include Portfolio Manager at LMR Partners and Managing Director, Head of Allocation Committee at Capstone Investment Advisors. Dustin's career began at Merced Capital as an Asia/Europe Trader and includes significant experience at Lehman Brothers as Vice President of Equity Strategies Asia. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago, earned between 1994 and 1998.
