Gimede Gigante is a Member of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Auditors of Milan since 2011, he is a member of the Banking Commission and registered in the Register of Technical Consultants (civil sector) of the Court of Milan. He has held various positions, including participation in supervisory bodies in supervised intermediaries. He has worked for leading financial and industrial groups (Unicredit Group, Eni Group) and has been an economic consultant for a number of Italian banks. He is Deputy Director of the Financial Times Ranked Master of Science in Finance (Clefin), Deputy Director of the Bachelor in Economics and Finance (Clef) and Academic Director of the Summer School (High School and Graduate Programs) at Bocconi University in Milan. He is Core Faculty of the Department of Finance at Bocconi University and he is the holder of the compulsory course Principles of International Finance. He is Professor of Investment Banking at SDA Bocconi in Mumbai (India) and Professor of Corporate Finance at Fudan University (Shanghai-China). Since 2012 he has been teaching Financial System at Bocconi University in Milan and he is member of the Research Unit of "Investment Banking & Structured Finance" of Baffi-Carefin (Centre for Applied Research on International Markets, Banking, Finance and Regulation). He is the author of national and international articles and publications on Banking & Finance with several publishers including Palgrave Macmillan Studies in Banking and Financial Institutions, Routledge, Bocconi University Press (BUP) and Egea.
