Donatella Valentini

Donatella Valentini is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience at Banco Santander, currently serving as Managing Director and previously in roles such as Executive Director and Vice President. Key achievements include the creation and development of the Italian Structured Trade and Lending Business, along with the origination and execution of innovative financing solutions for clients. Prior to Santander, Donatella Valentini held the position of Head of International Trade Department at Bancaperta S.p.A., where notable contributions included launching new financial products and supporting network branches. Earlier experience at Bayerische Landesbank involved origination and execution of export finance transactions, showcasing expertise in buyer’s credit financing and legal documentation negotiation. Donatella Valentini is an alumna of Università Bocconi.
