Suhail Chander

Suhail Chander is an Independent Director at Bandhan Bank Ltd. and has over 37 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry. Suhail has worked with various companies in corporate banking and operations including ANZ Grindlays Bank, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., IndusInd Bank, and Soch Foundation.

Suhail started their career with ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1983 and held various positions in corporate banking and operations before moving to ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 1990. At ABN AMRO, they held positions of increasing responsibility including Branch Manager, Chennai (1995-1999), Head of Consumer & Commercial Banking, Indonesia (2003-2005), and Head Consumer Client Segment, Singapore & Malaysia (2006-2008). In February 2008, they joined IndusInd Bank as Head Corporate & Institutional Banking.

In April 2020, Suhail Chander joined Soch Foundation as a Trustee where they are responsible for special needs education.

Suhail Chander is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University. Suhail also went to Modern High School.
