Ben Ibarra Fernandez has extensive experience in digital innovation and IT governance, currently serving as the Lead of Digital Innovation and Transformation at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas since June 2009. Responsibilities include managing the Digital Transformation Strategic Program, leading the Digital Innovation Laboratory, and assisting in the development of the BSP's IT Governance System. Previous roles include Chief of Staff and Information Systems Officer, where Ben oversaw significant software development projects and maintained the Data Warehouse for supervisory reports. Ben holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of the Philippines Baguio, along with further studies in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, Ben has served as a Board Member for the Alumni Association of AIM and held various academic positions, including Physics Instructor and Student Relations Officer at the University of the Philippines Baguio.
