Rafał Rybkowski

Rafał RybkowskiHe graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw. In the years 1991-1993 he worked as a senior auditor at Coopers & Lybrand Polska Sp. z o. o., then at Benckiser Poland SA as the manager of the Monetary Economy Department. From 1996 to 1999 he was the financial director and member of the Management Board of AIG Polska SA, and in the years 1999-2003 he was the financial director and vice-president of the Management Board of the joint stock company Metropolitan Life Ubezpieczenia na Życie. In 2003, he was delegated to MetLife Indonesia, where he was the financial director and vice-president of the Management Board until 2005. In 2005-2006 he participated in the construction of a new company Metlife in Ireland in the EIMEA Region (Europe, India and Central and Eastern Asia). He then served as vice president of finance for MetLife Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. In 2009, he was engaged by MetLife US as an advisor on an international M&A project. In the years 2010-2012 he was a member of the Management Board of Ciech SA for finance and IT. Currently, he is a member of the Management Board and financial director of the AAS Balta insurance company in Latvia and AB Lietuvos Draudimas in Lithuania. He is certified by The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
