Pravin Kumar

Pravin Kumar is a seasoned professional in disaster management, currently serving as Chief Manager of Disaster Management at Bank of Maharashtra since July 2023, focusing on Integrated Risk Management. Previously, Pravin held multiple roles including Senior Research Officer, Project Officer, and Senior Advisor at the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority from December 2016 to July 2023, where responsibilities included project planning and execution, policy review, and training module development. Prior experience also includes a position as Senior Research Officer with the Government of Haryana from May 2012 to December 2016, concentrating on disaster risk reduction and capacity building initiatives. Pravin holds a Master’s degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, completed between 2010 and 2012.
