Ermina Karim

Ermina Karim serves as the VP of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate since November 2020 and holds a position as an Independent Board Director at Bank of the Sierra, participating on the Credit Committee and Risk Management Committee since May 2022. Previous roles include leading the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce as President/CEO from July 2011 to June 2018 and serving as VP of Governmental Affairs & Economic Development from November 2007 to July 2011. Ermina was also a Business Reporter at The Tribune between January 2006 and November 2007, and held several editorial positions in finance and investment journalism, including Vice President at Credit Suisse and Editor at Worldly Investor. Ermina Karim earned a B.S. in Journalism and Economics from Northwestern University, graduating in 1995.
