Dr. Markus Kirchner

Dr. Markus Kirchner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in political strategy and economic sciences. Currently serving as Leiter Politik Deutschland and Associate Director im Bereich Strategie at Bankenverband since March 2008, Dr. Kirchner has also held leadership roles in the Berlin office and parliamentary liaison. Prior to this, Dr. Kirchner was a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität Potsdam from October 2005 to February 2008. Academically, Dr. Kirchner holds a Doktor in Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften and a Diplom in Volkswirtschaftslehre from Universität Potsdam, along with a qualification as Bankkaufmann from Volks- und Raiffeisenbank Cottbus eG.
